Our simple Level 3 Home Sleep test

makes it possible to determine if you may have Sleep Apnoea.

Home Sleep Testing Process

  1. Book an appointment with our Team
  2. We will show you how to connect the sleep testing device to yourself. Take the device home with you and return it the next day
  3. We download the data from the device and send it to our Sleep Services provider
  4. In 2-3 weeks we receive your Sleep Test report from a Sleep Physician and call you to review the results with you. In this appointment, we discuss recommendations provided by the Sleep Physician.

Trial CPAP therapy

Once a patient has been diagnosed with sleep apnoea, Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) therapy is the recommended treatment. CPAP is recognised as the Gold Standard in treating Obstructive Sleep Apnoea.

A CPAP machine prevents a patient’s upper airway from collapsing during sleep by providing a flow of air through the nose and/or mouth using a mask.

At Queanbeyan Sleep Services we provide CPAP therapy trials. We require a valid prescription (which can be the Sleep report provided from the Home Sleep test), or a prescription written by your Sleep Physician.

Our Sleep Specialist will then work with you to find the best fitting mask to use with a CPAP machine. We recognise that a comfortable fitting mask is the most important part of ensuring your CPAP therapy journey is a success, therefore our Sleep Specialist will discuss your mask options in detail.

The trial usually lasts for 4 weeks and during this time our Sleep Specialists will monitor your therapy usage, adjust settings if required, and help you adapt to therapy.

After the conclusion of the trial period, our team can assist you with the purchase of your very own CPAP machine as well as configure it to your specifications.
